These terms are the agreement between you and Numistep when you use the app. We kept them short and readable.
What Numistep is
A daily coaching app built with CBT-based techniques: one task, a small first step, focus sessions and an evening check-in.
It is not a medical device or treatment and it doesn't replace professional care. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 in the US, or your local emergency number.
Who can use it
You need to be 18 or older and able to agree to these terms.
Your account
You sign in with a link sent to your email, so keep access to that inbox secure. You're responsible for what happens in your account.
Early access and pricing
Right now it's free while we're in early access, and we don't ask for a card.
Before any paid plan starts, we'll email you first with the price and how often you'd pay, and ask for your clear consent. You can cancel in Settings in two taps.
Refunds
There's nothing to refund while it's free. Once paid plans are available, you can request a refund from Settings within 14 days of a payment, no questions asked.
Using the app fairly
Please don't try to break, copy or overload the app or the coach, and don't use it to harm anyone.
AI-generated content
Coach replies and suggested steps are generated by AI. They can be wrong or not fit your situation — you decide what to do with them.
Your content
What you write stays yours. You allow us to store and process it only to run the app for you, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Ending your use
You can stop anytime and delete your account in Settings. We may suspend accounts that misuse the app.
Limits of our responsibility
The app is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we aren't responsible for indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before a claim.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a meaningful way, we'll let you know before the changes apply.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. This doesn't take away any consumer protection rights you have under the laws of the country where you live.
Contact
A dedicated contact address will be listed here before public launch. Until then, you can download or delete all of your data yourself in Settings.
